Ingredients:
Chai Syrup:
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1/4 cup loose chai tea
- 1 cup sugar
Chai Gin and Tonic:
- 3 tbsp Gin
- 2 tbsp Chai syrup
- Tonic water
- Cinnamon stick
- Star anise
- Nutmeg
- Apple slices
- Ice cubes
Instructions:
Chai Syrup:
- Bring apple cider, loose chai tea, and sugar to a simmer over medium heat.
- Stir well.
- Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
- Once cooled, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the chai tea leaves.
- Transfer the chai syrup to a container and refrigerate until chilled.
Chai Gin & Tonic:
- Fill a glass with ice cubes.
- Add 3 tbsp of gin
- Pour in 2 tbsp of chai syrup, adjusting to taste.
- Top with tonic water and stir gently to combine.
- Garnish with a cinnamon stick, star anise, a sprinkle of nutmeg, and slices of apple.
