Hibiscus Margarita Cocktail

hibiscus margarita, ceylon tea

Ingredients:

  • 1 hibiscus tea bag
  • 1 cup of water
  • Sweetener
  • 2 tbsp of lime juice
  • 2 tbsp of orange liqueur
  • 4 tbsp of tequila
  • Lime wedge
  • Salt
  • Ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. Boil 1 cup of water.
  2. Pour the boiled water over 1 hibiscus tea bag.
  3. Steep for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove the tea bag.
  5. Add sweetener to taste.
  6. Mix the hibiscus tea, lime juice, orange liqueur, tequila together in a shaker.
  7. Shake well.
  8. Wet the rim of glass with a lime wedge.
  9. Turn the glass upside down and place in a salt plate.
  10. Add ice cubes to the glass.
  11. Pour the mixture over ice.
