Bubble Tea Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Water
  • Tapioca pearls
  • Honey (for sweetening)
  • 1 Ceylon black tea bag
  • 2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar syrup
  • Ice
 

Instructions:

  1. Soak the tapioca pearls in water for a few hours.
  2. Bring the water to a boil in a pot. Add the tapioca pearls and stir to prevent sticking.
  3. Once the pearls start floating to the top, cover the pot and boil for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let the pearls sit for 30 minutes with the lid closed.
  5. Rinse the cooked pearls with cold water.
  6. Sweeten the pearls with honey.
  7. Steep the Ceylon black tea bag in boiled water for 3-5 minutes.
  8. In a shaker, combine 3/4 cup of the brewed tea, 2 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk, and 1 tablespoon of sugar syrup.
  9. Add ice to the shaker and shake until frothy.
  10. Place 3-4 tablespoons of the sweetened tapioca pearls in a glass, then pour in the tea mixture and stir well.
  11. Serve and enjoy your homemade bubble tea!
