Ingredients:
- Water
- Tapioca pearls
- Honey (for sweetening)
- 1 Ceylon black tea bag
- 2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tablespoon sugar syrup
- Ice
Instructions:
- Soak the tapioca pearls in water for a few hours.
- Bring the water to a boil in a pot. Add the tapioca pearls and stir to prevent sticking.
- Once the pearls start floating to the top, cover the pot and boil for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let the pearls sit for 30 minutes with the lid closed.
- Rinse the cooked pearls with cold water.
- Sweeten the pearls with honey.
- Steep the Ceylon black tea bag in boiled water for 3-5 minutes.
- In a shaker, combine 3/4 cup of the brewed tea, 2 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk, and 1 tablespoon of sugar syrup.
- Add ice to the shaker and shake until frothy.
- Place 3-4 tablespoons of the sweetened tapioca pearls in a glass, then pour in the tea mixture and stir well.
