Jasmine Tea Mojito Cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup jasmine green tea (brewed and cooled)
  • 3 tbsp white rum
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 2 tbsp simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 6-8 fresh mint leaves
  • Sparkling water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime slice
  • Mint sprig
 

Instructions:

  1. Pour 1 cup of hot water (not boiling) over 1 tea bag of Jasmine green tea.
  2. Let it steep for 3 minutes.
  3. Remove the tea bag.
  4. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
  5. Refrigerate until chilled.
  6. In a cocktail shaker, grind fresh mint leaves with simple syrup and lime juice.
  7. Add the cooled jasmine tea and white rum to the mixture.
  8. Shake well.
  9. Add ice cubes to a glass.
  10. Pour the mixture over ice cubes.
  11. Top with sparkling water.
  12. Garnish with a lime slice and mint sprigs.
