Sweet Tea Sangria Cocktail

sweet tea sangria, ceylon tea, fruit slices

Ingredients for Sweet Tea:

  • 6 Ceylon black tea bags
  • 375 ml simple syrup
  • 1.5 l water

Ingredients for Sweet Tea Sangria:

  • 1 bottle white wine
  • 1.5 l sweet tea
  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 2 cups strawberries
  • Ice cubes

Instructions to Make the Sweet Tea:

    1. Boil the water.
    2. Add 6 Ceylon black tea bags to the hot water.
    3. Steep for 5-7 minutes.
    4. Remove the tea bags.
    5. Add simple syrup to the hot tea and stir.
    6. Refrigerate overnight to chill thoroughly.

Instructions to Make the Sweet Tea Sangria:

    1. Mix chilled sweet tea with white wine.
    2. Add blueberries and strawberries.
    3. Let the mixture chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours to allow the flavours to meld.
    4. Pour the Sangria over ice.
