Ingredients for Sweet Tea:
- 6 Ceylon black tea bags
- 375 ml simple syrup
- 1.5 l water
Ingredients for Sweet Tea Sangria:
- 1 bottle white wine
- 1.5 l sweet tea
- 2 cups blueberries
- 2 cups strawberries
- Ice cubes
Instructions to Make the Sweet Tea:
- Boil the water.
- Add 6 Ceylon black tea bags to the hot water.
- Steep for 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags.
- Add simple syrup to the hot tea and stir.
- Refrigerate overnight to chill thoroughly.
Instructions to Make the Sweet Tea Sangria:
- Mix chilled sweet tea with white wine.
- Add blueberries and strawberries.
- Let the mixture chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours to allow the flavours to meld.
- Pour the Sangria over ice.
